Qualifications & Skills

· Completion of a recognized PSW program or completion of your first year in a recognized Practical Nursing or BSCN program. (required)

· Excellent attendance and punctuality

· Hardworking, compassionate, positive, solution-oriented, professional, and flexible

· LTC experience is considered an asset

· CPR & CPIC with Vulnerable Sector (within past 6 months)

· Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine

The specific responsibilities and duties vary slightly between facilities, as well as from shift to shift. These expectations will be communicated during the site-specific orientation to each facility.

Salary Range: $22 to $29/h

· Top scale includes $7/hr. incentive for last minute shift premiums

· Plan A PSWs qualify for an additional $3/hr. from the Ontario government’s Temporary Wage Enhancement (TWE)

· We offer the potential to work up to 44 hours/week.

· Overtime may be available upon approval and emerging needs

All references need to be supervisory, healthcare professionals (managers, clinical instructors, preceptors, DOCs, RPNs, RNs, professors, private care clients) and they must have observed you in the designation for which you are applying.
