The Logistics Program Coordinator provides project management support and coordination for land operations initiatives and projects. This role is responsible for coordinating and analyzing productivity reports and operational metrics and providing briefing notes and presentations for management Executive. The Logistics Program Coordinator monitors and reports on project milestones, coordinates multiple department-led initiatives supporting the logistics program specialist in the development of business cases and submissions. As assigned, the Logistics Program Coordinator supports the Planning and Operations division planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, of various projects, and assists with other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will have completed a two-year diploma in an acceptable discipline from a recognized institution, along with a minimum of two (2) years of project planning communication and coordination experience within complex multi-stakeholder environments. A Project Management Professional certification and/or port operational experience would be considered an asset. A high level of computer proficiency is required, including expertise with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Project). Knowledge of and experience with tools and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling projects.
The successful candidate must be a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills having the ability to perform analysis of operational data, data collection and have good problem solving skills. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, both written and oral. Must be a team player with a “customer service” focus with strong organizational skills and flexibility to perform diverse portfolio tasks. Must be committed to a philosophy of continuous improvement in work processes.
Marine Transportation Security Clearance
This position is required to access restricted areas/information. The incumbent must obtain and maintain a valid Marine Transportation Security Clearance as defined by the Marine Transportation Security Regulations .
