About The Position
A key member of Ontario’s growing team at Product Care Association, the Recycling Program Claims Analyst is the administrator working with service partners in Ontario to ensure validation of accurate claims and invoices before payment. They will work independently, looking for discrepancies with the ability to problem solve and address these issues with partners. The Recyling Program Claims Analyst also updates and maintains information in the Product Care reporting system and supports service partners with training and resources to ensure efficient and accurate claim/invoice submissions. The position reports to the Program Director and is based out of Product Care’s Ontario office with a hybrid in-office/remote work week, once probationary period is complete.
Responsibilities:
Claim Verification and Invoice Administration
· Support collection, transportation and processing service partners with submitting accurate and complete program claims to meet program or regulatory requirements.
· Review invoices/claims submitted from Ontario service partners and cross check supporting documentation.
· Ensure reporting system information is up to date and accurate.
· Monitor and identify irregularities/errors in claims/invoices and address with service partners and/or team members as appropriate.
Reports and Administration
· Prepare information or reports for weekly payment administration.
· Reject or make adjustments to claims, following standard operating procedures.
· Approve claims/invoices and update reporting system accordingly.
· Provide training and training materials to service partners
· Provide ongoing customer service to service partners to support effective and accurate claim submission
Other duties as required.
What You Bring
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
· Post-secondary education in administration, recycling and waste management or equivalent experience.
· Minimum 2 years’ work experience in administration and data management.
· Strong, professional written and oral communication skills.
· Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
· Self-starter, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
· Ability to work well with a team and as an individual contributor.
· Accountable and responsible for scope of work with little supervision.
· Excellent task and time management skills: prioritizing, multitasking, working with deadlines.
· Experience with databases and data querying (e.g. CRM) would be an asset.
· Experience with waste management logistics and reviewing transportation documentation would be an asset.
· French is an asset but not required.
