The Accounts Payable Clerk (Part-Time) will work with the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices. This position will be an in-office role, 2-3 days per week.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Ensure all receiving records are imported to accounts payable.
- Identify variances between invoices and PO receiving, and follow up
- 3 way matching, verify, match and post all vouchers for payment
- Assist with payments via: cheque, EFT, ACH and other as required
- Assist with printing accounts payable reports and maintaining accounts payable files
- Assist with answering vendors inquires
- Assist with month-end A/P reconciliations
- Assist with investigating accounts/postings as requested
- Organize incoming/outgoing mail
- Assist with audits
- Any other tasks assigned by department lead or manager
Qualifications:
- College diploma-Accounting or Finance
- Excellent oral and written English
- Experience in an accounting/record keeping environment
Skills Required:
- Experience with computerized accounting/record keeping programs
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational skills
- Team player
- Ability to meet deadlines
