Job Description

Reporting to the Chief Customer Experience Officer, the Director of Marketing will be responsible for providing memorable brand marketing experiences that you yourself would respond to. This individual will question the status quo, focusing on working smarter versus harder, trying to create a true impact in the industry.
What you’ll do
Develops and executes marketing plans and strategy, working with our product, sales, portfolio management, and customer experience teams to assist with growth and expansion of our products
Communicates with outside partners and vendors on various ongoing campaigns
Works with the Design, Business Intelligence, Content and Engineering teams on design, layout, and production of promotional marketing material
Liaises with external PR firms for ongoing media relations
Builds and maintains relationships with strategically aligned external organizations such as local publications and relevant industry/business associations and organizations
Meets with partners in key practice areas to develop and implement business plans. Monitor and support business development activities of those partners, including identifying prospects, developing pursuit strategies, and monitoring and supporting pursuit efforts
Develops and continually updates sales materials that highlight the attributes of the firm and its key practices. This includes generating entirely new content as well as editing and improving existing sales content
Coordinates and manages webinars for clients and prospects
Researches, identifies and presents industry/competition trends
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
7+ years working in B2B Marketing, in the finance or asset management space
Proven work experience coaching and leading teams
Bachelor’s degree level education in Marketing, Business, or related discipline
Experience in the development of annual Marketing plans and marketing performance analysis
Experience and knowledge about various marketing strategies, including organic, SEO, paid, digital, social media, relationship, content, and video
Proven experience in campaign management and the development of an insight-driven demand generation strategy
Highly proficient ability to interpret data to determine decision-making, work to budgets and financial plans, and develop action plans for improvement
Experienced managing and leading media plans, and buying media for ad campaigns
Expert capabilities in computer programs and software like Office 365, Slack, Zoom, HubSpot, Siteimprove, and Google Analytics
Strong project management capabilities
