Reporting to the Alliances Leader, the Alliances Programme Director is responsible for enabling the strategic alliances teams to ultimately deliver the demand generation channel for our clients and people. You will partner closely with our leadership teams to create world-class experiences for our teams to deliver quality at scale, through creating focus and clarity, reducing friction, maintaining stability, and transforming career and personal growth.
The mandate of this role is to establish, enhance, and scale strategic Alliances with key technology companies and related operations to enable PwC teams to deliver consistently and support teams in their professional growth. You are empowered to be a key creator of how the programme rollout and effectiveness is achieved and reimagining how Alliance partnerships are standardized and prioritized at PwC. In this role, you will recommend and implement processes, systems, frameworks, tools, and training to enable high performance of our teams across the entire engagement lifecycle of PwC’s Alliances Delivery Model (Tech stack assessments, custom builds, imports, platforms, and others).

As a Director, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
Alliances Operations
Define, own, and optimize the approach for how the Alliances team integrates a cross-firm approach in service of our clients. Identify and implement workflows, methods, systems, and tools to enable the vision
Build an understanding of our platform systems, processes, and partners – and how they all fit together. Optimize, automate, or reimagine these to address the needs of our people and the business
Research and implement best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This includes recommending and testing new ways of working (behaviors, processes, and tools) to enable collaboration and velocity between client facing practitioners, adjacent internal functional groups
Standardize the PwC go to market approach with strategic alliance partners. This includes sustained adoption of tech solutions for client problems and delivery
Establish resource planning practices, forecasting, and allocation across the Alliances portfolios
Talent and Culture
Sponsor team-led programs, projects, or initiatives that enhance our ways of working, our sense of community, and our diversity and inclusivity
Evolve our performance framework for specialized roles within the Alliances team which links to the PwC Professional and our PwC Values
Drive recruitment activities to attract and hire team members, particularly in broadening the team’s skills and capabilities
Coaching Team Leads and supporting their professional development. Advocate and enhance coaching standards to align with PwC’s expectations in combination with tailored interventions for specialized talent
Procure and deploy learning and development programs to support innovation, embrace design thinking as a go to market approach, and inspire our teams
Communication and Engagement
Create and maintain visibility within Digital, Data and Innovation teams, lessons learned, and outcomes
Programming to showcase Alliances visions, works in progress, and thriving partnerships to create awareness of the solutions we manage and the value they deliver to the firm and to our firm’s clients
Engagement in the market to attract talent and amplify brand awareness for our firm
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
Hands-on experience in a series of progressive sales / marketing roles, within a professional services firm or large corporation
Experience leading cross-functional consulting teams is required
Experience managing and operating large-scale alliance programs preferred
Demonstrated understanding of Sales & Relationship Experience working in a dynamic, sophisticated environment where change is the norm
The ability to communicate effectively, consult with others, develop relationships quickly, both internally and externally, facilitate group discussions, make presentations
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard
