QM Environmental has an immediate opening for a Fleet & Logistics Coordinator to join QM’s team in Mississauga, ON.

Our experienced team can provide turnkey solutions to address water management, impacted soils and sediments, and waste transportation and treatment for a variety of sectors.
In addition to environmental remediation, civil earthworks and water treatment, QM’s integrated suite of services includes demolition, hazardous material abatement, emergency management and training, emergency response and waste management and disposal facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Support/liaison with third party mechanical vendors and repair shops
- Support daily operations of Fleet and Heavy Equipment
- Coordinating, tracking, scheduling repairs and maintenance
- Coordinating, planning transport moves for heavy equipment
- Support remote operations
- Contributing to inventory control by sourcing parts and supplies
- Knowledge of accounts payable processes
- Review and assign equipment manuals and compile, as requested, all associated materials to be assigned
- Maintain fleet/equipment licensing and documentation or identification including coordinating branding requirements
- Request, receive and review each CVOR / NSC requirements monthly and online for compliance in the three areas:
o Inspections
o Collisions
o Convictions
- Monitor GPS reports and report all driver infraction
- Complete regular data entry requirements for service-related reporting system
- Assist with health and safety related issues / reporting as directed regarding vehicle accidents
- Verify 407 Transponder accounts to ensure accuracy of charges
- Update and maintain vehicle information and files
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school or relevant experience
- Communicate fluently in English in both verbal and written communication
- Experience working with third party service/parts suppliers
- Experience sourcing parts/inventory
- Excellent organizational skills
· Proficient with the use of a computer, including Microsoft Office Software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
· Proven experience dissecting information in all forms and compiling data to allow for efficiency analysis
· Some mechanical aptitude
· Strong data processing and analytical skills
· Capable of handling a fast-paced environment
