About Us: We are a 52 year old motorsports dealership. With a relocation to Balzac in 2016, we have rapidly grown and are in for some exciting times with the recent acquisition of new major OEM. We offer a team orientated atmosphere, and the opportunity for the right candidate to gain experience in many aspects of the business. We operate Tuesday through Saturdays, and you will be expected to work some Saturdays. Our company offers 4 day long weekends, an in-store gym and staff incentives including a company paid, goal based staff trip abroad.
Position Summary: We are seeking a Marketing & Administration Manager for our growing business. This position wears multiple hats within our dealership, and the ideal candidate must be able to recognize the opportunity working in various operational standpoints presents. We are looking for someone well versed in working with website CMS platforms, including Shopify, e-commerce, Amazon, comfortable working within Adobe Creative Suite, and familiar with booking digital advertising including Google Ads and various social media sites.
As part of this position’s marketing responsibilities; the candidate will design and implement marketing campaigns for the dealership. The Marketing Manager will work together with the dealer principal and the Assistant General Manager to adjust the plans, timelines and creative as needed or recommended. Many of these aspects require a willingness to learn our product, attention to detail and excellent record keeping abilities. He or she will be responsible for:
– Maintaining company brand integrity
– Management of the company website
– Working with our external agency in search engine optimization
– Managing Search Engine Marketing
– Social media & its paid advertising
– Tracking key performance indicators for both marketing campaigns and the business
– Budget administration
– Graphic Design of ads
– Growing the company’s e-commerce site
– Growing the company’s Amazon retail store
As part of this position’s administration responsibilities; the candidate will work closely with the dealer principal to oversee administrative and operational tasks associated with the day to day of a dealership. In this aspect you will be handling confidential information, and as such the ability to be discreet is necessary. Included in this is the responsibility of acting as a sales administrator and coordinator. This component requires the ability to think ahead and problem solve. Responsibilities related to the administration component of the role include:
– Managing various spreadsheets
o Including detailed inventory and costing spreadsheets
o Including customer databases
– Accounts Receivables
– Accounts Payables
– Preparation of sales paperwork
– Completion of the various records updates and financial transaction records required to complete a sales deal
About You: Our ideal candidate will have the ability to problem solve. He or she will be highly organized, and with good attention to detail. We are seeking a proactive thinker, who is constantly seeking ways to improve what is already in place. The ideal candidate will be self-reporting, keep excellent records and the have ability to follow procedures to work with fairly minimal supervision. He or she will have exceptional time management skills. Due to the confidential nature of some of the aspects of this position, we are seeking someone that is honest, accountable and discreet.
