Dean, Enrolment Management & Registrar
Position Summary
The Dean, Enrolment Management & Registrar leads with Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM)-informed thinking to support our learners across all stages of the student life cycle. Reporting to the Associate Vice President – Academic Entrepreneurship, this position provides strategic and operational leadership for student recruitment, admissions, and enrolment services (including transfer credit, PLAR, and competency-based assessment); student registration and records; academic advising and financial aid; and the student information system. The Dean, Enrolment Management & Registrar is the institution’s chief enrolment and academic records officer and is accountable for maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and security of academic records. Additionally, this position provides support and leadership to the Work-Integrated Learning Hub and associated operations.
The Dean, Enrolment Management & Registrar is strategically positioned as a primary collaborator and trusted advisor supporting creation, implementation and ongoing assessment of academic planning, policy, quality assurance, and innovation both at the divisional and institutional level. The Dean, Enrolment Management & Registrar champions the work of the institute’s Strategic Enrolment Management committees (Student Success Plan) and is accountable for an exceptional service experience through broad connectivity with colleagues and intuitive, technology-supported systems, processes and workflows. Through a continuous improvement lens, this position ensures relevant design, development, implementation and management of efficient, effective and timely college-wide integrated systems, processes and services that aid in achievement of institutional defined metrics for enrolment conversion of domestic, Indigenous and international prospective and current learners – from prospective learner through to alumni and life-long learner.
In addition, the position may carry out other roles and projects as requested by the Associate Vice President – Academic Entrepreneurship
