We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Administrator to become a Lead MOA and to work with our current manager with a possibility of a future role in management. Our office is a Family Practice Medical / Walk-in Clinic in Richmond. You will coordinate medical and health services in our clinic and help guide essential administrative activities of a Medical Clinic.
Responsibilities:
-Oversee and help with essential administrative activities and manage personnel
-Plan and coordinate schedules
-Work collaboratively with physicians
-Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety
-Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures
-Have knowledge of Billings and accounts receivable (MSP, WCB, ICBC, Legal, Insurance companies)
Qualifications/Skills:
-Previous experience in healthcare or other medical field
-Great critical thinking skills
-Previous experience as a Lead MOA or Senior MOA
-Experience in a leadership role
-Strong leadership qualities: ability to manage others and daily operations
-Strong organizational and bookkeeping skills
-Knowledge of and experience with EMR systems
-Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
-Bilingual in English/Mandarin or English/Punjabi is nice to have.
-Familiar with Medical Office equipment and sterilization and autoclave use and labeling specimens and slides for laboratory pick up
