Description Out client is seeking an enthusiastic and talented individual to join their team as an Accountant. Your day to day responsibilities of this role may include, but not be limited to:
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
- Matching invoices to purchase orders or vouchers
- Expense approvals
- General accounting and administration support: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts
- Post financial information to journals, registers, and ledgers, manually or by electronic equipment
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned
Requirements
The successful Accountant will possess the following:
- Previous experience as an Accountant
- Actively pursuing CPA designation
- Ability to multi-task and attention to detail are critical
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong data entry skills
