Robert Half Looking for Drupal Developer at Toronto, Ontario Full Time

Our client is a creative agency based in downtown Toronto. They are looking for a freelance Drupal Developer for a short term contract to start as soon as possible until February 2024.

The Position

The freelance Drupal Developer will develop websites according to best practise standards and methodologies. As the Developer you will be able to adapt and build from existing page templates using Drupal, PHP, Javascript and CSS

Responsibilities:
– Develop, maintain, and configure Drupal websites; Drupal 8/9
– Developing and maintaining Drupal websites
– Developing custom Drupal modules and themes
– Troubleshoot website issues and debug code
– Optimize website performance and implement security measures
– Implement responsive design and web accessibility standards
– Collaborate with other team members of the project, such as usability, design, front-end, QA and project managers

– 5+ years of web/front-end development experience
– Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3
– Experience with PHP, jQuery and CMS platforms
– Prior experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
– Deep knowledge and extensive experience working with modern web technologies, frameworks and techniques
– Proven experience working with template components.
– Ability to understand CSS changes to have consistent style across platforms and browsers.
– Capacity to develop working HTML pages from comprehensive layout and wireframes
– Working knowledge of the MySQL database
