Description Our publicly traded downtown client, in the mining sector, is looking to hire a Senior Bookkeeper for their organization. Reporting to the finance leadership team (CFO, VP & Controller), the Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for roughly six sets of books (two main operating companies and four holding companies), including payables, receivables, reconciliations, intercompany transactions and reconciliations through to trial balance.
Requirements
The ideal Senior Bookkeeper will have 5+ years of hands on accounting / bookkeeping experience, have worked in a multi-entity environment and have ideally worked with public companies (not a deal breaker). You MUST have experience working with SAGE 50, have solid Excel skills and we able to work independently as their is a hybrid component to this position.
