This job is for someone who excels at coming up with creative solutions to technical issues. Robert Half is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to accommodate field users in an ever-changing, active environment. Candidates with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for making effective change within an organization will be the best fit for this Help Desk Analyst position. This Help Desk Analyst role is based in the Vancouver, British Columbia area and is a long-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity.
Key responsibilities
– Deliver IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally
– Solve technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups
– Diagnose recurring technical issues and implement solutions to address the root of the problems
– Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues
– A background in post-production/media/entertainment is required
– Expertise in SideFX Houdini
– Nuke experience
– Autodesk Maya experience
– Teradici Remote Desktop experience
– Microsoft Office 365 experience
– Proven knowledge of Zoom
– IT support ticketing system experience highly valued
– Background in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Firm grasp of basic networking concepts
