Robert Half is hiring now for an experienced Project Manager to fulfill a contract/temporary role for our client. As the successful Candidate you will be accountable for planning, executing and evaluating IT infrastructure projects according to the project management methodology and project definition. You have exceptional PM talents and strong ability to manage stakeholder expectations by understanding the culture, technology and business environment. This role is located in Edmonton, AB., and is open to hybrid remote (work from office/work from home) permissions.

MUST HAVES:
5 – 10 years proven working experience in a Project Management role

Expertise in infrastructure technologies, networking and security projects

Strong experience and ability to direct and manage project progress from beginning to end, excellent discipline and time management skills to plan, manage and deliver results within a team and independently

Solid working knowledge to define project scope and goals, deliverables and success factors needed to support business goals

In-depth knowledge and experience to perform cost estimations, budget control, resource planning and critical path scheduling

Hands-on experience in coaching, mentoring, and supervising project team members and contractors with the ability to influence without authority

Well-organized and detail-oriented

Above average communication and interpersonal skills – ability to quickly understand and accurately interpret meaning, purpose and importance. Ability to facilitate operational meetings

Ability to proactively identify and manage risk

Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving competencies, with the ability for devise creative, workable solutions with established policies and a customer focused approach to resolving issues

Diploma, certificate or other post-secondary education in a related field
