Construction Technician The Construction Technician work with the site team to maintain the site quality, safety and cleanliness. They will also be responsible general labor functions as they relate to maintenance and clean-up, as needed. What we look for? At least two years experience in residential construction required. Clean driver’s abstract. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Desire for continuing education and personal development. What will you do? Provide assistance to Site Superintendent & Assistant Site Superintendent General labor functions such as site cleanup and maintenance as needed. Assist Site Superintendent and the Assistant with quality controls checks on framing, insulation, foundation, and pre-occupancy per company’s standard. Communicate with trades and suppliers by phone, email, or in person as instructed. Maintain construction site cleanliness & safety Removal of garbage, debris, and snow, through sweeping & pressure washing. Ensure that access into and out of home sites are safe and clean (includes stairs, ramps, guardrails, sidewalks, and driveways). Perform touch ups and repairs on deficiencies left by trades.
