Nature and Scope
The Program Coordinator is accountable for the coordination and administration of quality adult programs and services for First Nations Learners. This position will positively promote and create an environment that demonstrates SIIT’s vision, mission, and mandate.
General Accountability
The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the Virtual Health Hub and other Health initiatives and programs across Saskatchewan. The incumbent is responsible for the coordination of programs from start to finish, including administration and financial budgeting, program development, monitoring, as well as, recruitment and management of instructors and students, and completing evaluations.
Specific Accountabilities
The position is responsible for coordinating with outside agencies to build and maintain the highest professional rapport with stakeholders, funders and suppliers. Additionally, this position will ensure that the training and education offered and developed meets the needs of the learners, clients, communities and professional workforces they serve. This position provides additional support as required and includes the following broad range of accountabilities:

Required Qualifications and Experience: A Bachelor’s degree with three to six years related experience is required. Experience in program administration and coordination is preferred, with the ability to develop, establish and maintain good working relationships. Knowledge of First Nations cultures and organizations would also be an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as travel is required.
As this position is considered safety sensitive, the incumbent will be subject to testing as per SIIT’s Alcohol and Substances policy.
