EDUCATION ASSISTANT – Teaching Kitchen CUPE Competition No. 5484

Location: District – South

Howe Sound Secondary School

Temporary: January 31, 2023 to June 30, 2023

Hours: 6.0 hours per day, for all days school is in session

Rate of

Pay: $28.41 per hour

Duties &

Responsibilities:
Under

the direction and supervision of the teacher and with the general direction of

the Principal(s), provides support for the Cafeteria program.

Qualifications:
Completion

of Grade 12, Food Safe Course and over three (3) months and up to six (6)

months related experience, or an equivalent combination of related training and

experience. Knowledge of basic food

handling and preparation procedures. Ability to operate a variety of food

preparation equipment. Standard first

aid certificate.

Competition Closes Tuesday January 24,

2023 at 4:00 p.m.
