Sciteline Looking for Quality Automation and Compliance Engineer at Canada Full Time

What is Sciteline? 

We’re a Toronto-based SaaS start-up on a journey to solve some specific challenges in the clinical trials space. 80% of clinical trials miss enrollment targets every year resulting in ever increasing drug development costs. We’re going to close that huge gap with web-based tools that make it easier for patients to find trials that they could benefit from, and products that allow people that aren’t near research hubs & cities to participate. When we’re through, clinical trials will be faster, cheaper, and more representative of real populations. We focus on patients; real-time data to improve clinical research and reimagine the health software experiences.

The Role: 

You’ll join an agile product team with flexibles roles, a strong desire to pitch-in, and a thirst for challenges. Our team is focused on our goal, but our diverse experiences make us responsive to shifting needs. This is a quality-focused role (we need to level up our automated test harnesses, and our culture of QA coaching) but we love folks with an opinion and interest in what is being built, and how we are building it. The stage of our company allows you the flexibility to support multiple roles in our Agile team – You’ll be running and automating our formal compliance reports (with support from the agile team) but depending on your interests and skill sets you may also want to support UX or software design spikes, technology investigations, bug hunting, or pairing with other developers to build new features. Ultimately, your voice and ideas will be an important part of shaping our product, and in building solutions for our users.

What you’ll do:  

·      Work independently and in pairs with other team members to design and implement automated test cases for new features. 

·      Support and spike new engineering initiatives (e.g., test report publication).

·      Support the team in testing new software and user experiences (automated, exploratory, and acceptance)

·      Share responsibility for managing Kanban processes and moving features toward our goals

·      Provide oversight and manage completion of formal compliance test reports on a per-project basis. (We bring in contract support to execute formal compliance tests when clients request it, we need someone to manage the process)
