Role Overview:

SDK Tek Services Ltd. seeks a diligent Business Analyst to join our Calgary office full-time. This role is pivotal for someone who thrives in an in-person collaborative environment and is passionate about bringing digital transformation to life through Microsoft Cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities:

·       Conduct comprehensive business analysis, identifying and documenting requirements across our key business areas.

·       Lead the deployment of Microsoft Cloud services, including Azure and Databricks, to align with business strategies.

·       Develop actionable data models and processes, integrating data lineage considerations into business solutions.

·       Facilitate stakeholder engagement through interviews and workshops to define and agree on project objectives and deliverables, leveraging in-person discussions for effective communication.

·       Oversee and report on cloud solution implementations, ensuring progress aligns with planned objectives and timelines.

·       Provide direct support and empowerment to users through data visualization and reporting tools.

·       Stay informed on industry trends related to Microsoft Cloud platforms, promoting best practices in data modeling and lineage.

·       Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic business decisions.

·       Assess current business processes and systems, identifying opportunities for enhancement or redesign.

·       Coordinate cross-functional project tasks to meet deadlines and budget constraints.

·       Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility of information.

·       Communicate effectively with all stakeholder levels, ensuring transparent and clear understanding of project goals and developments.

·       Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for business process updates.

·       Collaborate closely with IT teams to implement and refine technology solutions that support and advance business operations.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

·       Proven business analysis experience, particularly in IT projects involving Microsoft Cloud and Databricks.

·       Understanding of DataOps principles, data lineage, and data modeling—these are strong assets.

·       Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·       Certifications such as CBAP or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate are advantageous.

·       This role is strictly on-site and candidates must be based in Calgary or willing to relocate and work full-time from our Calgary office.
