For the Digital Operations Strategist role at S+G, we are looking for someone with 1+ years of experience and knowledge in paid social and paid search platforms, digital marketing, tracking and reporting, and client communication. The Digital Operations Strategist will be excited by data and processes, and use this mindset to drive technical efficiencies within the platforms. We also want someone who is up for the challenges and opportunities that come with working for a scaleup, growth company.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Working on paid ad platforms including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Amazon Ads, Instagram Ads, Microsoft Ads, and LinkedIn Ads to build new campaigns, optimize existing campaigns and improve performance for our clients.
- Pulling data from analytics platforms and/or CRMs to create more value for our clients through data insights (including Google Analytics, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc).
- Reviewing and analyzing campaign performance data (e.g., within platform, reports, dashboards) to develop actionable insights that assist with strategic planning, KPI improvement, and growth.
- Effectively breaking down technical requirements to communicate actions that will be taken to drive campaign performance for our clients.
- Collaborating with our Digital Designers to develop creative ads that speak to the clients’ brand and audience.
- Monitor platform updates to anticipate any potential issues for our clients and share these with the team.
- Assist with troubleshooting within the platforms and reporting tools.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ year of experience working on paid search and social ad platforms (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Amazon Ads, etc).
- Paid ad experience managing campaigns from A-Z including creation, tracking and tagging setup, optimizing budgets, and reporting on campaign performance.
- Adaptability with a strong desire to continuously learn and develop your skills.
- Drive to continuously grow our S+G client roster and team.
- Working knowledge and expertise in Google Analytics, setting up conversion goals and UTM parameters for tracking.
- An interest and proactivity in setting up tracking and integrations to collect campaign performance data, including exposure to Google Tag Manager and Facebook Pixels.
- An analytical mindset showing accuracy and proficiency with numbers and data, with an ability to build reports and exhibit confidence when presenting findings.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
- Process driven and capable of working within deadlines with a continued emphasis on project detail.
- Strong communication skills both internally and client facing with a friendly demeanour and the ability to clearly deliver rationale for strategic approaches.
- The ability to accept constructive feedback and apply changes where required.
- Critical thinking skills with the capacity to develop unique approaches to problems and projects.
- Takes initiative in leveraging continuous learning and resources to keep ahead of industry trends.
It’s a bonus if you…
- Have experience with programmatic advertising platforms (e.g. StackAdapt, DV360).
- Are used to working in task management/Gantt chart software (e.g. Asana, Monday.com).
- Have experience with data visualization software such as DataStudio or Tableau.
- Can manage landing page optimization and testing.

Schedule: Full time
Compensation: $60,000 – $70,000 annually, (dependent on experience)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
