Position: PT Weekend Afternoons Control Room Supervisor
Vertical: Datacentre Physical Security
Location: Richmond Hill, ON
Pay Rate: $30.21/hr
Shift: Saturday and Sunday 1500-2300hrs
The Security Guard-Incident Response is responsible for the day-to-day operations of security personnel and is responsible for responding to any security incidents on site.
The responder reports to the assigned CRS and is responsible for the following duties:
Responds to security incidents as dispatched by the CRS or as directed by the SSM, STM, or AO.
Conducts patrols of the interior and exterior of the facility. Refer to section 10.1, Patrol functions.
Serves as Incident Commander pending arrival of the CSM, SSM, STM, AO, CRS, or member of a public service agency (police or fire).
Prepares reports on incidents to which he or she responds.
Performs other duties directed by the CRS, AO, STM, or SSM.
Monitors the cameras located in the SOC when not on patrol, break, or a detail.
Covers screening posts during break periods at managed sites on nights and weekends, and as directed by the CRS.
When a site is monitored by the PSOC instead of a CRS, the onsite Responder is responsible for the following additional duties typically performed by the CRS:
Responds to security incidents as dispatched by the PSOC or as directed by the responsible CSM, SSM, STM, or AO.
Conducts patrols, completing patrol checklists.
Conducts camera patrols.
Escalates security events to the PSOC.
Collaborate with the PSOC Watch Guard/Watch Supervisor to prepare reports on incidents to which they respond.
Manages datacenter access control through the Datacenter Access Tool (DCAT).
Manages hard key checkout and check in.
Collaborates with the security screening guards as back up security support is needed.
Performs other duties directed by the PSOC, CSM, SSM, STM, or AO.
Covers screening posts during break periods on managed sites on nights and weekends, and as directed by the PSOC.
Briefs the incoming shift on incidents that took place on their shift and incidents that are continuing into the following shift, and completes the shift pass down.
Requirements:
Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
Valid First Aid and CPR certificate approved by the WSIB
4 years of Security Supervisor or 5 years Security Guard experience
Tech savvy with the ability to troubleshoot various security equipment and computer issues.
Must be able to meet the requirements for a Reliability Clearance through the Government of Canada.
Solid operational knowledge and the ability to react to any and all issues on site with haste.
