Position: Junior Accounting Technician
Location: Downtown Montreal (hybrid, up to 4 days remote/1 to 2 days in office)

Our well-established and preferred client is currently seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join their accounting and finance team.
The specialist will work with all departments to create purchase orders and verify invoices for the entire organization globally and will have exposure to the whole organization and help get invoices paid.

We would love to meet candidates with:
– DEC in accounting (an asset)
– 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role
– Meticulous with great attention to details
– Good Excel and database skills
– Bilingual to communicate with clients outside of Quebec
Main Responsibilities:

– Perform PO cycle management (creation, requisitions and modifications)
– Offer PO processing support to buyers
– Investigate and resolve invoice and PO discrepancies
– Support pre-month end close related activities
– Support supplier creation process
