Our client is seeking a seasoned and adept Technical Lead Software Engineer with expertise in React and TypeScript to become an integral part of their dynamic team. In this pivotal position, you will play a key role in steering the development of cutting-edge software products while ensuring strict adherence to industry best practices and coding standards. Collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager, you will be instrumental in meeting project timelines and fostering effective communication with stakeholders throughout the SDLC lifecycle to proactively address any challenges.

Role Summary:

– Guide and mentor a team of skilled software engineers
– Supervise software development projects from inception to launch
– Collaborate with Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Design teams to comprehend requirements, establish goals, and ensure timely project delivery
– Enforce coding standards and best practices within the team
– Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback
– Support the Engineering Manager in conducting performance evaluations for team members
– Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
– Lead and organize release management activities
– Serve as a Scrum Master for Sprints
– Prepare solution development estimates, covering technical planning, refinement, and dependencies
– Provide technical expertise, motivating team members to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation, and deployment

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
– Over 7 years of hands-on experience in software development
– Proficiency in React and TypeScript
– Sound understanding of interacting with Rest APIs
– Proficient in using Jest for unit testing
– Familiarity with Storybook JS
– Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, Redux, and NestJS is advantageous
– Basic understanding of Node JS and PostgreSQL
– Proven experience in leading software development projects/features
– Solid comprehension of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, with a background in working within Agile teams
– Familiarity with Agile development practices, including continuous integration, test-driven development (TDD), and iterative delivery
