Sethi International Trans Inc. Looking for Director of Finance at Mississauga, ON Full Time

We are looking for a passionate and energetic new CPA to join the company as the Director of Finance and grow with the company.

Scope:

• Play an active role in the Company’s management team
• Design and implement the best accounting and finance practice for Sethi International Trans Inc to ensure Company grows rapidly and meet all the necessary requirement.

Responsibilities:

• As part of the leadership team, advise and support leaders to make the right business decisions.
• Draft internal financial and management reports, as well as monthly financial reports.
• Prepare month-end reconciliations of GL accounts to support month-end processes and reporting.
• Ensure all accounting and finance-related work and document is prepared according to the tax law.
• Prepare and post all bank entries, process portal and EFT payments and prepare bank reconciliations.
• Develop financial Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure that the Company complies with CRA regulations.

Qualifications :

• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• The CPA designation is a must
• Excellent knowledge of CRA regulation and Canadian tax law.
• Experience within a high-growth organization.
• Strong business acumen and ability to communicate ideas clearly.
• A natural people person who can communicate and collaborate with a team.
• Professional written and oral communication skills
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Proven experience in Managing Processes, Financial Software, Developing Standards, Auditing, Accounting, Tracking Budget Expenses, and Analyzing Information.

Experience:

• Financial management role: 5 years
• CPA: recent CPA obtained candidates are welcome to apply for the role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Compensation: Base Salary from $90,000 and commensurate with education and experience.

Performance Bonus based on KPI.
