Position Summary
We are thrilled to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Coordinator, HR Information and Systems, to join our dynamic HR team. In this role, you will be accountable for the administration and maintenance of processes to support the effective delivery of HR services, the accurate maintenance of employee data and provision of HR reports.
This position is based in Calgary and offers a hybrid work arrangement, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week remote.
Accountabilities
Maintain data controls to support the meticulous maintenance of employee data.
Support ongoing review of HR processes and development of strategies. Maintain process documentation, supporting the delivery of standardized, centralized HR services and processes. This includes process guides, templates, and other materials.
Identify and bridge gaps in current reports/key performance indicators and processes and work to refine and develop new reports and processes to drive business value and efficiency.
Administer accurate and timely processing of updates and regular administrative processes within the HRIS and all HR systems.
Deliver timely reporting of employee data, HR analytics and KPIs across the organization including regular monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc requests.
Maintain HR information, including reports, templates, and process materials on the HR Team SharePoint site.
Support the monitoring of HR mailboxes, handling and distributing inquiries as appropriate.
Uphold HR service quality when dealing with all internal and external clients.
Assist in implementation, upgrades and maintenance of HR systems.
Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of various processes within the scope of the HR Services Center of Expertise (COE) with a mindset towards Operational Excellence.
Qualifications and Skills
Post-secondary education with 2+ years of HRIS experience.
Knowledge of internal controls.
Knowledge statistical analytic techniques.
Understanding of HR systems to ensure effective maintenance of employee data.
Understanding of employment legislation.
Strong communication, attention to details and time management skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset.
