This is a temporary full-time contract position.
About the Role:
- Maintain payroll information by collecting and entering data into multiple payroll systems, as well as retrieving necessary data.
- Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures, and reporting required changes. Supports payroll functions by following policies, procedures while adhering to various deadlines.
- Maintain employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential. Understands and strictly adheres to the confidentiality required in payroll operations.
- Highly developed organization skills and attention to detail executing tasks with mimimal errors and high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and work in a pressured enviroment while adhereing to deadlines.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Payroll, Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Previous payroll, data entry or accounting experience with familiarity of payroll principles and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with payroll and financial software. Experience with ADP, UKG, Kronos, Excel an asset.
- General math skills with understanding of mathematical principles
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Team player and ability to work independently
