Banquet Bartender
The hotel is currently recruiting for a Banquet Bartender. The Banquet Bartender is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes at cash and hosted bars. This role will ensure client and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Banquet Manager (Food & Beverage Manager) and/or Supervisor, the Banquet Bartender:
- Provides total guest satisfaction through skilled and capable service in accordance with Hotel standards;
- Sets up bars and accessories;
- Serves liquor, beer, soda, juice, and mixed drinks;
- Checks identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol;
- Utilizes Micros system proficiently;
- Maintains a clean work area;
- Accepts payment for customers’ orders;
- Maintains consumption sheet and other related paperwork;
- Balances cash receipts at the conclusion of the event;
- Complies with all inventory control measures;
- Breaks down bar and store supplies at end of function;
- Maintains a professional appearance at all times;
- Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area following sanitation standards;
- Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers;
- Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
What We are Looking for…
- Experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant, or banquet facility preferred;
- High School Diploma or equivalent desired;
- Good oral communication skills and the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English;
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette;
- Knowledge of popular mixed drink recipes and preparation methods;
- Mature judgment and professionalism in handling all matters;
- Able to understand directives and utilize basic mathematical skills;
- Smart Server Certificate required;
- Flexible schedule including some long shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Ability to bend and climb stairs when necessary;
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds at a time, perform various activities such as constant standing, walking, frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and squatting;
- Ability to work in a noisy environment.
Salary Range
$16.50 per hour
plus Service Charge (gratuity)
