Project Lead Carpenter
Slate is seeking an experienced CARPENTERS and PROJECT LEADS with minimum 5 years of experienced with the trade.
Our team specializes in office commercial and multi-residential general contracting and construction workeragement projects. Our primary focus is to find people who fit well with our team, who exhibit integrity, strong ethics, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities will include:
-Coordinating with Slate project manager and sub-trades
-Ability to read and interpret drawings to execute work
-Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
-Plan and make requisition for materials and supplies
-Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Expertise required:
-Wood and steel framing including LVL beam and column experience to accommodate structural alterations
-Boarding and taping drywall new and existing applications
-Metal knock-down frames, doors and hardware installation
-Safety and hoarding understanding with various site conditions
-Baseboard, casing, closet cleats, interior door installations, including adjustments/repairs on existing door systems
-Concrete pad, footing, and curb experience
-Proficient understanding mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Compensation: Slate offers a competitive wage on a full-time permanent basis. Overtime and stat holiday compensation. Company attire provided.
