Responsibilities and duties:Join copper piping by brazing.Leak check refrigerant circuits including pressure and evacuation tests.Transfer refrigerant.General mechanical assembly work.Other general tasks as appropriate. Qualifications:Previous brazing experience.Refrigerant handling license.Journeyman refrigeration mechanic license.RBQ brazing certificate. Education requirement:Post-secondary education or related experience.Required skillsAbility to braze copper joints with an open flame torch.An understanding of evacuation and refrigerant transfer equipment and industry best practices.Attention to detail.Mechanical skills.Able to work alone.Working written/verbal communication skills (English)Ability to multitask and adapt to a highly dynamic environment.Good reasoning skills and sound judgement.Must be able to lift packages up to 50 pounds.
