The Social Research and Demonstration Corporation (SRDC) is a mission-driven, non-profit research and evaluation organization. The Position
We are seeking to fill an immediate need for a full-time Office Manager.
The Office Manager will organize and coordinate office administration and procedures, in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for key corporate services, streamlining administrative procedures, as needed. The position is best suited to an experienced professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, with a demonstrated ability to handle a wide range of office administrative and management tasks.
The Office Manager will be well organized, flexible, and approach challenges positively. A high level of professionalism and discretion are key requirements for this position, as is excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work comfortably and competently both independently and as part of a small corporate team.
In 2020-2021, all SRDC staff were working from home due to COVID-19. In 2022, we began a phased return to our offices, we are currently in our final phase. We have adopted a hybrid work model. The successful candidate will provide support for in-office and remote staff. This position benefits from effective communications skills in both official languages and regular on-site work (estimated to be
40-60% in the office, precise schedule will be determined with successful candidate).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SRDCC’s Corporate Operations Manual (e.g., performing organized administrative procedures, demonstrating effective communications, maintaining electronic filing systems, verifying/approving invoices, monitoring contracted services, providing admin support to meet a variety of corporate and project demands).

(e.g., recording expenditures, analyzing variances, making necessary corrections that arise).
(e.g., set up new users, process voicemail changes, respond to staff requests); prepare and distribute staff contact lists.
