As a Content Marketing Coordinator at Software Secured, you will have the opportunity to creatively develop new content tools (blogs, e-books, newsletters & more) that help potential new customers understand the value of application security testing in their business. This includes writing content, managing freelance writers, and working alongside an agency to maintain & grow our SEO positioning.
The ideal candidate will be motivated and passionate about information technology and take pride in spreading the word and helping businesses secure their applications. He/she/they will also have an affinity for engaging storytelling, excellent content writing skills, and great interpersonal skills.

Your Responsibilities:
Taking ownership over the Software Secured website including managing the blog content calendar, developing new campaign landing pages as needed, and working alongside an agency to integrate SEO best practices on the site
Managing relationships with a network of freelancers which includes brief writing, content schedule management, content approvals, and posting of finalized content
Promoting existing Software Secured content onto the newsletter and social media channels
Developing sales enablement content which may include case studies, information sheets, presentations, or landing pages as needed
Tracking the success of content and optimizing strategies to improve overall campaign performance
Must-Haves:
Completion of a College/University degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field OR at least 2 years of full-time experience in a marketing/PR position
Experience managing multiple projects and/or campaigns simultaneously through project management and/or CRM tools
Demonstrated experience writing blogs, press releases, case studies, social media content, and/or e-newsletters
Experience with Canva or similar graphic design tool to create engaging graphics for web, blog, social, and newsletters
Must have clear communication skills to be able to give/receive constructive feedback well, provide clear direction to freelancers, communicate with agencies/partners, and be able to ask for help when needed
Willingness to learn and high drive for continuous self-improvement
Confident self-starter who can work both independently and within a small team

Previous experience or strong interest in the information technology and security industry
Previous experience managing service clients, freelancers, and/or channel partnerships
Public speaking experience
