Solare Home Building Looking for Bookkeeper/CPA at Bedford, NS Full Time

ScotiaWay Inc./Doctor Solar is an independently owned, full service solar company, currently serving the NS, PE and NB. Our goal is to build long-term relationships with our customers by being fully transparent, providing quality services and a best in-class customer experience. Due to the extreme growth the company has experienced over the last 18 months, we have the need for a full time, in house experienced bookkeeper. This is a new position.

The position will be the primary bookkeeping role for the day-to-day and periodic tasks of the company and its other complimentary buisnesses, working under the direction and supervision of the Senior Accountant.

AP, AR, weekly Payroll, HST, WSIB, Union Remittances and other regular routines * Bank and GL account reconciliations. Various other related duties as assigned

Qualifications: Formal education/training in * 3+ years of experience * Solid experience and proficiency using SAGE * Proficiency in Excel and Office 365 enterprise solutions/tools * Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment is a must. * A self starter, able to work independently and with minimal supervision * Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to meet deadlines, adjust quickly to changes in priorities and work within a team environment to achieve results If you meet the above qualifications, please submit your resume.
