Marketing Web Developer – Growth Team

A little description of the role…
We are rapidly growing and looking for a passionate and creative Web Developer to join the Growth Team. You’ll be responsible for managing all the web development aspects of our Growth and overall Marketing initiatives, as well as our technical SEO. You will report to our Director of Growth and work closely with our VP of Marketing for common exciting projects.
As an experienced creative web developer, you will be responsible for managing and executing the technical part of our full website rebuild, as well as making sure it is optimized for easy maintenance and solid SEO performance. We can’t wait to show you the many exciting lead generation technical projects you’ll take on, and can’t wait to see what cool web and SEO projects you can show off.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Undergrad degree in a Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of professional experience developing and maintaining websites (Wordpress)
- Experience in JavaScript (ES6), CSS, HTML and PHP
- Experience in using a scripting language (e.g., Python or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement web pages with good UX
- Experience in integrating automation tools (e.g., Zapier) and working with APIs
- Experience in A/B testing and experimentation
- Experience in tracking and analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Google Analytics)
- Strong knowledge of SEO
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- You can identify key tasks and possess the ability to problem-solve and create workarounds as needed.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
- Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
- Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.
WHAT WILL I DO?
- You will be our technical lead for our full website rebuild
- You will manage and execute on growth marketing strategies: complex landing pages, experimentations, creating new flows, exciting experimental projects
- You will be instrumental in bringing new technical ideas for demand generation
- You will lead, strategize, and execute our technical on-page SEO
- You will working on various and exciting new data projects: implementing new marketing software for Growth to make sure we get 100% of their capabilities, CRM data consolidation and enrichment, keep our web tracking up to date as well as enhancing it to make sure we understand our buyer’s journey, and building scripts/software to collect leads from other websites (reverse engineering)
- You will work on UI/UX to create landing pages and other front-end pages for lead generation purposes
- Work collaboratively with the different teams like Content Marketing, Graphic Design, and Product.
