Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 education required.
- Recent experience as a Unit Clerk, or other clerical experience required.
- Computer skills with proficiency using email and Microsoft Word and Excel at an intermediate level required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic mathematical/numerical skills and experience ordering supplies.
- Payroll data entry, staffing and scheduling and invoicing validation experience preferred.
- Polite & efficient telephone manner.
- Proven ability to work independently and show initiative.
- Able to work well under pressure & co-operate with all Health Centre staff and patients.
- Satisfactory attendance record
