Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a 3-year diploma/degree in Business and/or Office Administration including bookkeeping and finance.
A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in a detail oriented, customer service driven environment with specified timelines, preferably in a post-secondary computerized environment, and providing administrative and budget support services. Experience in the use and application of excel or other databases and word processing, scheduling, and communications systems (MS Office Suite, Outlook, Internet, Financial and Student Information). Experience with GL reports and payroll.

The successful incumbent must have the ability to report to the work location and work temporarily from a remote location with reliable internet access, as approved by the College and in accordance with the college’s Telework Policy. The incumbent may be required to lift light amount of weight (up to 5 kg or 11 lbs.) such as packages of paper, office supplies, textbooks, and class supplies.

THIS IS A FULL-TIME BARGAINING UNIT POSITION
This competition will be processed in accordance with College policy, the Academic and Support Staff Collective Agreements. In addition to comparing candidates’ qualifications and experience to the listed technical skills, education, work experience, and personal characteristics (values, attitudes, motivation, and performance), the seniority of Bargaining Unit members will be considered. If the search extends beyond the Bargaining Unit, consideration will be given to accumulated service with the College.
