The What
As a Stud Welding Service Technician, you will be part of a dedicated team based in Mississauga ON and reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. In this role you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain both customer equipment and the Company rental fleet. The equipment repaired takes place in-house and as well as at the customers’ facilities and job sites.

What you will get to do

Troubleshoot, maintain, modify, and repair of the regional rental fleet, includes stud welding systems, power sources, and field diesels

Troubleshoot, maintain, modify, and repair of customer equipment
-
Assists customers in person and via the telephone with equipment, accessory and technical problems
-
Assists sales representatives in person and via the telephone with equipment, accessory and technical problems

Performs in-house demonstrations for customers

Welds samples for sales representatives and customers
-
Performs as a boiler outage service technician as required

Performs cycle counts as directed
-
Performs shipping and receiving responsibilities when required

Completes company deliveries to various customer/warehouse locations as needed

Occasionally performs general building maintenance
Who You are
-
College diploma or certificate in small engine repair, heavy equipment or a related Technical field
-
Experience servicing and maintaining small engines, heavy equipment, portable welding systems or small diesel engines
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently
-
Strong organizational and time management skills
-
Computer proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
