Description
The Learning & Development Director is responsible for assessing competencies and overseeing training and skills development for individuals and teams within SCP. This involves, but is not limited to, developing and implementing training programs, evaluating their effectiveness, and evolving them to meet the ever changing needs of a dynamic and growing agency. In the role of Learning & Development Director you will inform job descriptions/postings of the competencies and skills required, develop connections with community partners, and cultivate and curate training resources for the agency. This role centers around identifying the skills staff need to serve the youth well and then collecting the resources and developing the training for them to be successful.

What you bring to the table!
Education
Bachelor degrees and/or minimum of 5 years experience in related fields (Incl. human resources, psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, youth services, education, etc.)
Experience & Knowledge

Job coaching, coaching or counseling experience
Youth care
Indignenous education
Mental health
Exceptionalities; cognitive impairments, learning challenges (ex. FASD, ADHD)
Trauma Informed Care

An UNRESTRICTED SASKATCHEWAN driver’s license
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Clearance
