Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated self-starter who will bring not only strong Project Management (PM) skills but also a positive energy and new ideas to our team. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing a new case management tool for HR Shared Services and the great Global Talent organization through multiple phases. They will build their network through client relationships and internal teams with frequent, consistent, open communication and collaboration. The PM will report into the Director, Workforce Planning and Strategic Initiatives, during their 18 month contract or secondment.
What will you do?
Manage all phases of project from initiation to post implementation, including scope changes, RFPs, risks, issues and actions
Develop and manage detailed work plans, project schedules, estimates, budgets and resource plans in conjunction with project team members and stakeholders
Organize information to support successful project execution and project team communication
Accurately forecast and manage assigned budgets and provide regular financial reporting at the project level
Timely and managed communication to ensure stakeholders and partners are engaged and aware of project status, timelines, key issues and risks
Coordinate the development, discussion, and approval of corrective action, mitigation and/or contingency plans
Work closely with delivery to ensure appropriate governance structures and processes are in place for a project
Assess desired end product and identify any gaps, issues and/or concerns with current service delivery model
What do you need to succeed?
Education, training or experience equivalent to a degree in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Administration or a related discipline
Experience facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups
Experience sourcing, selecting, and supporting implementation of a system or software program
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (One Note, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)
Demonstrate capability in handling sensitive and challenging situations
Ability to work with Senior Management and cross-functional teams
Must be able to work independently
Excellent project and time management, analytical, and people skills
Ability to create plans for complex projects with many interrelated paths

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
