Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): scheduling of outpatient and/or inpatient procedures, scheduling pre-assessment appointments, preparation of patient charts and filing as required, telephoning patients with appointments and instructions to arrive, answering telephone and direct patients to appropriate individual, faxing, corresponding with law offices and scheduling independent medical examinations and other secretarial/receptionist duties as required.
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of Patient Registration (PCS), Patient Appointment Scheduling (PAS), Electronic Patient Record (EPR), OR Scheduling (PICIS), Outlook, and Excel.
