Sureway Construction Group of Companies is recruiting for a highly experienced and professional Human Resources Coordinator to join our team!

Location: Edmonton, AB (9175 – 14 Street) Please note: there is no direct access to public transportation. This position is 100% on-site.

Hours: Monday-Friday; 7:30am-4:00pm and/or 8:00am – 4:30pm (rotating schedule)

Human Resources Coordinator Functions/Responsibilities:

• Provide support in full cycle recruitment including creating and posting job advertisements, sourcing, pre-screening resumes, identifying, reference checking and setting up interviews with prospective candidates.
• Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates.
• Manages candidate status through the use of our applicant tracking system; ICIMS.
• Coordinate the administrative duties within the HR department; employee files, new hire packages, termination records, etc.
• Monitor and assist with inquiries made by phone and email.
• Coordinate the administration of benefit and pension plans.
• Coordinate the administration of employee’s apprenticeship training.
• Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism to internal and external clients.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in the resolution of problems and concerns.

• Minimum 2+ years of Construction Recruitment.
• Minimum 2+ years as a HR Coordinator/Administrator.
• Ability and experience working in a faced paced and high-volume environment.
• Enrollment in, or completion of, Human Resources or Business Administration certificate, diploma, degree or equivalent experience.
• High degree of quality in regards to; attention to detail, organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge and working understanding on the Employment Standards Code and the Human Rights Act.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically strong in Excel, Outlook and Word)
• Ability to keep a high level of confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

• Extremely reliable, mature and professional.
• Strong customer service orientation.

• Highly resourceful, intuitive and flexible.

• Proven organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to details.
• Experience with Explorer Contract Manager is an asset.
• Experience with ICIMS is an asset.

• Experience creating recruitment social media content for LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram is an asset.
