Medical Office Assistant (MOA)
Surrey Respirology Group is looking for a Medical Office Assistant who is a self-starter and has strong administrative skills to join our team. You will work for ONE specialist doctor only. This position is permanent full-time and available ASAP. ***Must have experience with Plexia**
We are looking for an individual who is:
– Fluent in English
– Able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills
– Friendly and able to provide great customer service
– Prepared to multi-task
– Detail oriented
– Self starter and excellent time management skills
– Computer literate and able to operate basic office equipment
As an MOA you will provide office support to one physician with such tasks as:
– Booking and scheduling patient appointments
– Checking in patients and updating demographics
– Answering phone calls
– Linking documents to charts
– Processing referrals and prioritizing urgent referrals
– Restocking the exam room and ordering office supplies
– You WILL NOT have to do any dictation or billing duties.
This is a full-time position 40 hours per week with a flexible work schedule Monday to Friday. Some flexibility to work from home for right candidate. We are located across from Surrey Memorial Hospital.
Completion of the Medical Office Assistant program is preferred. Salary $24-25 to start.
