Primary Objectives :
– Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy’.
– Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
– Hiring talented and experienced employees with suitable domain knowledge to create superior work force.
– Developing recruitment/retention strategies/programs
– Establish and lead the recruitment and selection process over multiple offices in North America and South east Asia
– Nurture a positive working environment
– Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
– Maintain pay plan and benefits program
– Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
– Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics and develop a HRMS system
– Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
– Draft company policies and employee handbook
– Establishes the company wage and salary structure, pay policies, and oversees the variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises
Skills & Abilities:
– Knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, safety, employee engagement, and employee development.
– People oriented, and results driven
– Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
– Knowledge of HR systems and databases
– Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
– Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
– Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
– Creativity and resourcefulness and ability to build relationships
– In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Education & Experience:
– University Degree in or certificate in Human Resources or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in a generalist capacity
– Experience working in a transportation company with multiple locations supporting sales and operations teams is ideal.

– Ability to view computer screen for long periods of time
