Our client is seeking a Receptionist to join their dynamic team temporarily! As the first point of contact for incoming calls, visitors and clients, the successful candidate will promote a friendly and courteous environment and always maintain a professional appearance.

Receptionist Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and employees by greeting them in person or via telephone.
• Answer or refer inquiries.
• Direct guests by utilizing employee and department directories and providing instruction.
• Review and schedule room bookings
• The main point of contact for building security, employees or receiving guests and visitors
• Maintaining a clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Handle any admin tasks/requests for the floor as needed.
• Respond promptly to incoming calls professionally and enthusiastically.
• Ensure the fax, photocopier and printers are in good working order.
• Other administrative support is required.

Receptionist Qualifications

• Very strong organizational skills, along with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong analytical and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and pleasant telephone manner
• Ability to organize tasks and prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to function well independently and as a member of a team.
• MS Office Skills
• Attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude.

Employment Conditions

• Employment type: Temporary
• Shift: 8 am to 4 pm, Fridays are 8 am to 3 pm
• Location: Newmarket
• Competitive $20 per hour.
• Onsite gym and weekly classes
• Must have own transportation.
