BRC Group, consisting of Tayco, Woodlore and BRC, is a leading provider of office furniture and workspace solutions. We are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. As a Data Analyst at BRC Group, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets, extracting meaningful insights, and providing valuable recommendations to drive business decisions.
This is a new position and will be on an initial 6 month contract with the opportunity to extend.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Create reports and data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and support data-driven decision making
- Develop and maintain data models, algorithms, and statistical models
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or related role
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Proficiency with SmartSheet is an asset
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with statistical analysis and modeling
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleaning and manipulation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
