RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role you will:
• Provide coordination in a variety of areas including; time tracking and approvals, reporting, process management, training and other administrative activities
• Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis for the unit
• Develop and implement effective processes and procedures
• Provide project assistance on various unit operational projects
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
• You have knowledge of budget and accounting procedures, practices and information systems to identify expenditure problems
• You can input journal entries and maintain budgets
• You have knowledge of human resource processes, procedures and tools to provide human recourses support on related issues
ORGANIZATIONAL AND PROJECT ADMINISTRATIVE SKILLS:
• Organization and planning skills to determine priorities and coordinate administrative and financial responsibilities
• Project administrative skills to identify, monitor and assist with setting critical paths for project implementation, priorities and deliverables
• Proactive solution-focused approach to identify and resolve issues and improve services
RESEARCH AND ANALYTICAL SKILLS:
• You have research skills to collect information and prepare reports
• You can analyze and evaluate administrative policies, procedures and practices to develop options and solutions
• You can interpret directives, policies and guidelines
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
• Oral and written communication skills to liaise with others, respond to inquiries, coordinate meetings, produce and/or assist in the preparation of correspondence, documents, reports, submissions, presentation and briefing materials
• Consultation skills to advise issues and problems
• Interpersonal skills to maintain contact with a broad variety of internal/external contacts
• Tact and diplomacy to ensure effective relationships with stakeholders
COMPUTER SKILLS:
• You are proficient with computer applications to prepare correspondence and reports, track project priorities, develop presentation materials and input journal entries
