As Talent Sourcing Specialist supporting our 13 TELUS Health Care Centres across the country, you will be the expert recruitment advisor alongside talent acquisition consultants and the teams you support. In a market where companies increasingly compete for talent, you will leverage your expertise and creative approach to help TELUS secure the talent of today and tomorrow.
You have a reputation for being forward-thinking, with a natural curiosity about all health related topics and the capacity to be an outstanding creative and analytical consultant. You clearly understand your client team’s role and importance in a broader context, so much so that candidates often think that you are a part of it. Your extraordinary insight, listening skills and ability to see the big picture inspire confidence in managers and candidates alike. You understand what’s important to them.
Here’s how
As a trusted advisor, you will work with recruiters and hiring managers, using your expertise in recruiting healthcare and clinical talent.
You will use you insights into the health industry and emerging recruitment trends to create innovative hiring strategies that will generate interest from passive applicants who are already in high demand.
You will research the market and the industry trends and will keep talent acquisition consultants and hiring leaders up-to-date on developments as well as associated opportunities and issues.
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle
You’re an influencer with a proactive, inquisitive mind, constantly on the lookout for new market trends and keen to exchange knowledge with your colleagues and hiring leaders
You know how to handle ambiguity and are flexible enough to multi-task in a demanding environment with tight deadlines and high expectations
You have an excellent command of passive candidate identification tools and methods
You have proven skills in designing and implementing creative, innovative and diversity-focused sourcing strategies
You have a demonstrated aptitude for networking, targeting and attracting talented candidates with unique skills
You have a reputation for delivering ambitious results, demonstrating strong consulting and negotiation skills that support your clients in attaining their business objectives
You flourish within a team-based culture and collaborative partnerships
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a health-related field, or any combination of equivalent education and experience
You have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of recruitment experience in the health sector
You have an expert knowledge of the main sourcing tools/techniques (LinkedIn, Indeed, Boolean, etc.)
You possess demonstrated influencing and communication skills
You are bilingual in French and English
