The Canadian Brewhouse opened its first restaurant in 2001, in Edmonton, Alberta. By adding awesome talent to our team, serious dedication and persistence, and keeping the guest in mind, we’ve grown to 45 Canadian Brewhouses, 1 Canadian Icehouse, 5 Banquet Bars (second restaurant concept), 41 Plantlife Cannabis dispensaries, 5 Ribeye Butcher Shops, and will soon be opening The Italian Bakery’s Tesoro!
As the Director of Marketing with a specialization in digital strategies, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing plans to promote our brands, increase customer acquisition and retention, and drive revenue growth across all locations. You will lead a team of marketing professionals, collaborating closely with other departments to ensure alignment with company objectives and brand messaging.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement innovative digital marketing strategies aligned with business goals, leveraging channels such as social media, email, SEO, SEM, content marketing, and influencer partnerships.
Uphold and enhance the Canadian Brewhouse brand identity across all digital platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual representation.
Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of engaging content across digital channels, including social media posts, blog articles, videos, and email campaigns.
Lead social media initiatives, managing content calendars, analyzing performance metrics, and staying up-to-date with trends to optimize engagement and reach.
Develop and execute targeted digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, and other relevant channels, monitoring performance and adjusting strategies as needed.
Collaborate with web development teams to optimize the Canadian Brewhouse website for user experience, SEO, and conversion rate optimization.
Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
Mentor and manage a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment focused on achieving results and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
7+ years of experience in marketing roles, with a focus on digital marketing and brand management.
Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns, driving measurable results and ROI.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, tools, and best practices, with proficiency in analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
Creative thinker with a passion for staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus.
