Role Summary:
This role is responsible for selling products and services to a select group of high profile, highly complex or major accounts of national or strategic significance in the foodservice channel; develops alternative direct sales strategies aimed at achieving and/or exceeding the predetermined sales objectives to support the growth of the company’s business. Individual contributor who guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on existing solutions and procedures; works independently with guidance only in the most complex situations.
The incumbent will be responsible to provide ongoing support to high value clients; maintains strategic business relationships with major accounts; in charge of the direct sales process, aimed at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets; organizes visits to current and potential clients; recommends products and services that fit well with clients’ business needs. Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying established standards; knowledge base acquired from several years of experience in particular area; works independently; may coach other professionals.
The National Account Executive II will work with the integrated account team, including Customer Operations, Marketing & Finance to manage key aspects of the business relationship with multiple customers. Develop and implement Annual Business Plans which support business objectives. Act as a system-wide expert on strategy, business systems, and operating philosophy of assigned customer(s). Ensure a flawless execution of programs throughout the system.
Role Responsibilities:
Develops Annual Business Plan with customer and Coca-Cola system input that outlines key strategies and initiatives for growth
Ensures business plan and marketing activities are developed to deliver volume, revenue & profit, and customer satisfaction commitments made to all stakeholders during business acquisition and/or stewardship planning
Works to enhance customer value creation with the goal of becoming our customers’ most valued partner
Responsible for negotiating long-term customer agreements
Grows level of customer satisfaction, maintains win/win business relationship, and ensures effective communication with all key buying influences
Manages communication within the Coca-Cola system and customer field network to ensure constant application of strategies as outlined in the Annual Business Plan and execution of programs
Lead and be accountable for trade spend & OPEX management as per budget
Aligns system resources to implement marketing and operational programs according to plan, schedule, and budget
Acts as a system-wide customer expert to ensure that the Coca-Cola system understands customer(s) objectives, strategies, positioning, and needs and that Company programs are consistent with their needs
Responsible for problem solving operational or exceptional issues with customers or other stakeholders

Key Qualifications & Experience:
Beverage/consumer packaged goods experience is an asset
Experience in managing foodservice & retail customer relationships
Knowledge of fountain dispensing environment and operations preferred
5+ years of key account experience
Complex selling knowledge with proven ability to create and sell-in customer specific promotional programs & key initiatives
Knowledge of warehouse & in-direct delivered operating unit and business development planning experience
Proven ability to manage needs and concerns of multiple stakeholders across various business systems
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related background preferred
Location – Based in Canada – Toronto (GTA) preferred
Travel – Up to 50%
