As Workforce Planning Resource Coordinator at The North West Company (NWC), you coordinate the intake of key role training, relief, vacation, and promotions. In your role you will also manage a pool of external relief resources as required.

Your Role:
Coordinate a group of external relief management; as well as complete the intake of external southern recruitment requests; update Recruitment with needs;
Arrange vacation relief and emergency relief for Northern Canada Retail (NCR) Operations;
Coordinate the transfer, relief, and promotion/training travel as required for key roles;
Organize and monitor the recruitment and internal promotion process for key roles in partnership with Directors of Sales & Operations; request assessments or interviews as needed;
Work with Recruitment and /or Training & Development for backfill or training plan development; monitor progress for internal promotion;
Manage Training Stores by role and sources; assign training accommodations as approved;
Identify housing assets for training; approve travel expenses and track payments;
Execute and track workforce employee changes;
Complete Labour Level Transfers as required in Kronos; and
Perform various administrative duties as required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Human Resources Generalist experience is required;
Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience;
Office Administration or Business diploma; Human Resources certificate or in progress of completion is an asset;
Retail experience is considered an asset;
Proven ability in handling sensitive and confidential information effectively and professionally;
Excellent organization skills with attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict timelines; and
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
